[求助] 编辑回信中native format是什么意思?

Please provide the following separate files:

（1）• A suitably revised manuscript in native format (.DOC or TeX) with high quality embedded figures

OR

（2）• A suitably revised manuscript in native format (.DOC or TeX) with numbered figures, as separate files in .TIF, or .EPS format, with resolution of 600 dpi or greater. Providing the original figure and scheme files in their native formats will assist us in ensuring the best quality production of your article.

（3）• If your native manuscript is in LaTeX, please also provide any associated files (e.g. .BIB) and a .PDF version of your revised manuscript including figures.

（4）IMPORTANT: Your original files are available to you when you upload your revised manuscript. Please delete any redundant files before completing the submission.

（5）Did you know that you can now highlight your work on the back cover of Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics? This recent venture has proved immensely popular with authors. If you have any striking images and would like to feature the work of your group in this way, please contact the editorial office at pccp@rsc.org for more information.

不明之处：（1）（2）中的 native format是什么意思？，（5）是什么意思？要收钱的项目？有什么好处？

转换为其它文件格式之前、可以编辑的原始文件格式就称为native format. 我感觉是这个意思
