[求助] 投稿CM 10天了还没分配编辑

我投稿到CM,都10天了还没分配编辑,查了下还在主编手上,不过在投稿的时候我选择的就是主编作为推荐的编辑,会不会他已经把稿子送审了?急啊!

别急，他们几个编辑会看一下的。看看我们的文章，也是拖了十天后编辑的回信：
Thank you for submitting your manuscript, which has been examined by three editors, for publication in Chemistry of Materials.

Due to the large number of manuscripts that we are receiving, and the increased demands that are being placed on our reviewers, we are now screening all submitted papers before they are sent out for external review. Papers that do not provide a clear evidence for a significant advance that is likely to be of broad interest in materials chemistry will not be considered further for publication (see the Scope and Editorial Policy document at http://pubs.acs.org/page/cmatex/submission/index.html). We have closely examined your manuscript and have determined that the current findings do not constitute a significant advance in the broader context of current materials chemistry research. We think that this type of work is well suited for a journal devoted to chemical physics or physics, but less so for a journal with a focus on materials chemistry.

We regret that we are unable to consider your manuscript and trust that you can find a suitable alternative for its publication.
