a       'Where did you go?' asked baby.
b        Baby asked you where you had gone.

这是从什么句变换为什么句？

尤其是第2句是什么句？
tips
1    一種句子的表達方式...... XZ句&YZ句......？？？
2    打开第一个网页后，查看源文件，第7行倒数第2个单词 grammar 意思就是说password是语法，就是一个英文单词

What the hell is this all about? Totally confused. Is it a grammar question? Or a computer question?  If this is about grammar, the second sentence seems to belong to "Reported Speech" or " Indirect Speech".
