(Senior) Software Setting Engineers
We are looking for outstanding employees to join us as full-time (Senior) Software Setting Engineers .successful candidates will have developed high-performance, stable software that has been successfully deployed in a global product. You will have a system-wide, architectural view of the solutions that you build. You will also have strong technical ability, a focus on the customer experience, great teamwork and communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
You will work as part of an exceptional team at our development centre in Beijing, China, launching and growing new products for Nokia's Mobile Phones business. You will play a key contributor role in your team - as they will look to you for advice on the mobile technology. You will be a pivotal team player and able to deploy your initiatives, giving you the responsibility and authority to ensure success. You will be involved in every aspect of the process - from idea generation, business analysis and technical design through to software development across a variety of technologies. Your software will need to meet remarkably high standards of performance and reliability, and will operate a global scale.

Further more specific, you will be responsible for:
Ensures ramp-up readiness by integrating different team's solution into real product release.
Review the customer's requirements and ensure product customization's capability implemented in R&D phase
Deliver SW package to stakeholders within agreed time frame
SW error analyzing and fixing
Create variant baseline for further customization regularly
Provide input to FST testing and NDT testing
Test cases creation for FST and NDT testing
Consistent variant management when software is updated and ensuring available and new product variants are updated to reflect new functionality or bug-fixes
Support the HW build and the improvement of manufacturing failure rate
Maintain Flashing environment
Document good practices to continuous improve organizational operation efficiency
Your Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate has strong experience in SW build and/or configuration and a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other relevant field as well as 3 to 10+ years of work experience in software build or configuration. we expect the candidates
Essential skills:
Bachelor or above degree in SW Engineering or similar field is required;
3 or more years of work experience in designing, coding, integrating, testing and maintaining embedded software
System level SW integration experiences of large scale SW is preferred
Version control knowledge
Process oriented when dealing daily work and discussion;
be able and willing to create scripts to improve work efficiency;
Be persistent in driving issues to be completely solved and willing to challenge authority;
Proactive and honest in nature and be able to work with people of various disciplines;
Be able to manage multiple tasks/programs;
Good communication skill with speaking and writing in English
Must be self motivated and achievement oriented.
