投稿被拒老板让我先申述是否可行？ 已有9人参与

我投稿biomaterials，今天出来的审稿意见是直接拒了，主要是只有一个审稿人的意见，然后主编决定把我拒了。老板认为可以申述下，我不知道这样行不行？会不会浪费时间？ 下面是拒信： I have now received one referee's report on your manuscript, which is attached for your information. You will see that this referee has significant reservations about your paper. The referee has recommended that I reject the paper; and further comments to me indicate that additional referee's reports should not alter this position. It is my opinion that, based on the advice of this referee and my own re-reading of the manuscript, your paper does not meet the standards that are now required for publication in this journal. The criteria that I use include the quality of the science, the originality of the work and the relevance to the scope of the journal; I currently reject between 70 and 75% of submissions. |

As I know, the final decision for submissions to Biomaterials is made solely by the editor himself. In your case, it can be very difficult to appeal his final decision, unless you could first make a detailed and sound response to the referees´comments. Good luck! |
