Employment Opportunities SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE Clinical Division Post-doctoral Research Fellow (PR218/11-12) The appointee is expected to perform study on the mechanism of inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome, especially the signal pathways of IBD. He/She will report to and team with the Director of the Clinical Division of the School of Chinese Medicine who is responsible for securing grants. The position also provides an opportunity to contribute to the broad research goals in a lab leadership position, to work with a dynamic group of investigators studying important and exciting aspects of IBD, and present findings at national and international conferences. Applicants should have a PhD Degree with at least one year of basic research experience and a good publication record. He/She should be able to work independently, supervise junior lab personnel and good at problem solving. Experience in animal study, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology techniques (e.g. real-time PCR, western blot analysis, RT-PCR etc), confocal technique, proteomic and metabolic study are required. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
