发个博后信息，觉得有用就顶下吧。 =================================== Postdoc in Chemical Engineering The group you would work inProduct and Process Engineering (PPE) views chemical engineering as an expanding field full of opportunities to create devices, processes and products. With expertise in reaction engineering, fluid mechanics and transport phenomena, we create solutions for soft-matter, nanotechnology, energy and lab-on-a-chip applications, often together with chemistry, physics and life-science groups; we love interdisciplinary projects. For us, engineering implies out-of-the-box thinking and design, from a sound basis in natural sciences with mathematical rigor. The successful candidate will work in a young group, with fresh opportunities for independent thinkers. The University Delft University is a renowned research-university in the Netherlands. Our department of Chemical Engineering has obtained the 22nd position in the QS World University Rankings of this year. The school of Applied Sciences has recently opened a new top-notch clean-room, offering very accessible and complete fabrication facilities, aptly named after microscope inventor and microbiology-pioneer van Leeuwenhoek (http://www.vanleeuwenhoeklab.com/). In comparison with the other technical universities in the country, Delft is the only one with strong biology and life-science departments (Biotechnology and Bionano). A partial list of current topics: Our interdisciplinary team will focus on new and exciting research in the following areas: - lab-on-a-chip devices for fluidic/biological applications - partial wetting in microfluidic devices - spatio temporal pattern formation in porous media - rational design and synthesis of core-shell nanoparticles - light intensity in photocatalytic reactors - behavior of particles in turbulent gas/liquid systems - granular matter in dense fluidized flows You An engineer, physicist, chemist or other person with a Ph.D. degree, who is interested in developing novel technologies based on microfluidics/optofluidics for sensitive analyte detection. Experience with a major subset of the following would be beneficial: instrumentation (setting up automated experimental apparatus), microfluidics, micro-fabrication and optical detection. The successful applicant will be embedded in an enthusiastic research environment with world-class fabrication and testing capabilities. As part of your research activity, you will work closely with other researchers and collaborators in both academia and industry across the country. In addition, the collaborative nature of this project will provide you with ample opportunity to interact with the leading scientist working in a wide variety of fields in other universities and companies. The successful candidate will be appointed for two years with excellent benefit and a competitive salary.
