[交流] Are you on your way to meet your parents?

It is snowing, but the ground is only wet, without anything white.
Last year at this time, I was on my way home, to meet my parents. It was so happy a time to me, because I had not stay with my parents at the New Year occasion for many years, although I met them at other times. The cold weather, the bangs of the fireworks, and the smell of cooking, ... everything made it so warm to me.
Parents are getting old, and the chance for me to stay with them is expiring.  Their physical condition is also declining. So, often, when we, daughter and sons buy food, snacks for them, they can not eat much. Talking with us, cooking or doing other things for us makes them more happy than using or eating things we bring them.
Happy New Year to my parents! Happy New Year to all parents!
May they be happy and healthy for ever!

I am on my way home,without any money nor girlfriend.And my mother will meet me at the station,then we might go to the maket or mall,while my father is waiting for us because he has to work.I think it kind of happiness and warm.Wish a good new year.

I stay at home，but it is the first time since I go to middle school. I was sad because when I notice that I am an adult , the parents are so old that I can't believe it.

As the lyrics of a song says, I will have a gentle wife, cute kids, and all other things. When we can not go home with wife and kids, we should cheirsh the chance that is only shared by our parents and we ourselves.  Because, now, we can do more to our parents than when we have wife and kids.

Yes, as we grow up, our parents get old, and their moving, eating and hearing are all declining.
