[交流] 联合培养或者出来都博士,要求熟练掌握VASP 已有6人参与

现在有一个机会,有一名博士生名额,主要是用VASP计算。

主要工作涉及:
Phosphors for LEDs
Activity Type: RTD

Participant: IIC-SAS

Objectives: preparation of light emitting phosphors available for LEDs based on ternary nitrides and oxonitride (SiAlON) by reaction synthesis, combustion synthesis and carbothermal reduction and nitridation process.

Description of work: Following tasks will be performed: (i) reaction synthesis, combustion synthesis and carbothermal reduction and nitridation (CTRN) synthesis of ternary nitrides via nitridation of Si, Si3N4 and metal silicide powder mixture, (ii) first principle calculations of the electronic structure (including band gap) in ternary nitrides, (iii) synthesis of Eu2+ and Eu3+ doped ternary nitrides, (iv) optimization of composition and annealing conditions of nitride-based phosphors, (v) optical characterization, (vi) fabrication of thin layers of luminescent ternary nitrides; (vii) feasibility studies of possible application for LED technologies. The phase composition of synthesized powders will be determined by X-ray analysis, N/O analysis and IR spectroscopy. The morphology of grains will be studied by scanning electron microscopy. More precise analysis of the synthesised nitride/oxonitride grains will be analysed by means of EDX and EELS and carried out in co-operation with the project partners. The luminescent properties of lanthanoid-doped nitrides (and oxonitrides) will be determined in the Femtosecond Spectroscopy Laboratory of the International Laser Centre, Bratislava, Slovakia. The electronic structure (including band gap) of ternary nitrides will be calculated by first principle calculations using the Vienna ab initio simulation package (VASP) which performs an iterative solution of the Kohn-Sham equation of the density-functional theory (DFT, UR).

Recruited researchers to be involved: two ESRs

条件是可以和国内联合培养,也可以放弃国内学位直接拿国外学位。由于该项目是合作性项目,因此经常会在欧洲国家走动。
