Bose Einstein quantum statistics Properties of Bosons, energy levels and distribution law for their occupancy, application to describe photons, the properties of black body radiation and to derive Planck\'s formula. 3. Fermi-Dirac quantum statistics Properties of fermions, distribution law and occupancy of energy levels. Fermi energy and chemical potential of electrons. 4. Electronic theory of metals Energy bands, density of state (DOS) as a function of energy, organic metals 5.
