| As shown in figure 5, oxidation current of the modified electrode with the untreated AC was much bigger than that modified with treated AC. Furthermore, a obvious reduce of corresponding Integral power(discharge capacity) was presented. the possible reason was following: there are three types of activated carbon particles: macropore,mesopore and micropore. the discharge capacity of the electrode was matters most withthe mesopore. in here, the amountof the mesopore was substantial changes in the three samples. a large number of mesopore was clogged with lead powder or oxidation adsorption lead oxide, which blocked part of the pore structure, leading to the drops of the percentage of mesopore on the electrode in the in (b), and (c) sample. discharging process should be ended near 0.2 V(current almost to zero), but continue currentstill last for a period of time (more rechangeing)be observed as shown in Figure 5. According to the electrode reaction principle , speculated that the current may come from high surface and electrolyte activated carbon sulfuric acid formed by solid liquid electric double layer capacitance discharge. |
