Could you dare to start a new orientation ?

Suddenly I recalled why I first chose to study chemistry. All in all, It's completely an accident. In the university entrance, I chose economy as my first major.(I don't know why at that time , just follow others)But without a high-enough score, I was transferred to the chemistry department. Then I begin to learn chemistry, adjust to it, accept it, and finally pretend to be a chemistry student. At last, I regard all these as a normal situation and considers no changes. It's a life with no fate. For the years, I just think: I have devoted much in the orientation and so I should work on the road to get enough paying. Maybe I' m wrong. It's not what I learned on campus that is important, but the ability I obtained to learn new things in a short time during these years. This should make me really qualify for the degree I received. My teacher asked me: How will you prepare to pesuade the bank to employ you, a chemistry student, in front of enormous economy elites? You must abandon more but not all the base you've built up. What you have learnt is not only Chemistry but also self-learning, thinking, maturity and something else. So a new career is not more diffcult than what you think, after all, you do like this new orientation. Best wishes! |

Steve Jobs's words are really well kown. I can't agree more. I am very lucky that the major is my first choice. As far as i know,in university,we have opportunities to reselect our majors if we are good enough. What is more, one of my classmates went to the "bubugao" to pursue his dream of becoming an entrepreneur while our major is the design of engineering. So keep looking and don't settle. Best wishes! |
