[求助] 投 chemical science

在投chem sci 时需要提交一个Justification file 不知道是什么?请指教！还有他下面要求的 .zip 文件是做什么的，我的文章和supporting都是单独提交的

如果是给编辑的话，投稿过程中有个选项是comments to the editor，那这两个不是重复了么？

Then you can leave the 'comments to the editor' blank, or copy the justification letter there. The letter will also be viewed by the referees, anyway.

请问这个 Justification 是不是相当于cover letter？

RSC  Chem. Sci.有三个东西可能是 Cover leter：
1. comments to the editor
2. Justification
3. Letter to referee

搞不太清楚这三个的区别
