Research on the database development for characterized information of sports under digital environment and its application Abstract: the characteristics of domestic college sports disciplines database construction, college teaching on sports, and their training and research information on the demand conditions of characterized sports were completely investigated by using expert interviews and web survey method. With a variety of assessment requirements, it is necessary and meaningful to develop some characterized sports disciplines and construct a characterized sports information database. On this basis of research about the platform development, system configuration, design standards, construction specifications, application, data maintenance, and intellectual property rights, an original and characterized information database of the Sports was developed for Jiangsu Province, which provided a platform for physical education, sports training, and a wide range of information resources for sports science and other related research.
