ADS-7 absorptive resin was selected to extract stevia from leaching solution of Stevia leaf.
AB-8 resin was used to absorb stevioside, in which a light yellow crude Stevia was obtained by drying the eluate first, and then a high purity stevia was prepared by recrystallization method in 99% ethanol.
Stevioside could be absorbed by AB-8 resin it could be further desalted and decolorized by using ion exchange resin, based on which a yellow stevioside could be obtained by freeze-drying process. It will be better to take recrystallization using organic solvent such as ethanol.
