PHD position opening in Northeastern University 已有1人参与

We are requesting applications for a Polymer Engineering postdoctoral research associate for a new polymer-based nano-composite project. Candidates for this position will require a Ph.D. in Polymer Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or related fields. Knowledge in the areas of polymer science, engineering, or processing, as well as understanding of fiber spinning/film extrusion, and/or carbon nanotube/graphene dispersion in polymeric materials is necessary. Prior experience with crystallization of polymers, polymer mechanical and thermal property measurements, and/or polymer electron microscopy is also highly desired. Independence, self-motivation, creativity, and good oral and written communication skills are essential. This research project is directed by Prof. Marilyn Minus in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University, Boston, MA. Only applicants with U.S. residency, or foreign postdoctoral researchers with a valid visa who are already in the U.S., will be considered for employment since this is an immediate opening to begin Fall 2011. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
