投JCIS(JournalofComputationalInformationSystems)稿件页数是否需8页以上?

就是传说中比较好中的那个期刊http://www.jofcis.com/ 我们这边很多人都投过，录用率还蛮高的。手里有篇中文稿子（通信;协作通信;信道估计）想翻译了投过去，可是中文稿只有7页，翻译过去估计页数也差不多，实在没啥可加的了。 请问投这个期刊的话，稿件页数一定要达到8页以上吗，我看他网站上过刊中的文章也有好多6、7页的啊。 谢谢！ [ Last edited by NYPD on 2011-12-15 at 10:23 ] |

不是的，是怎么收费的问题 http://www.jofcis.com/submission.aspx Notes 1. The review process takes 4-8 weeks. If you do not get an acceptance letter or request for revision from this office by e-mail after 60 days from your submission date, please submit your article to other publications. 2. A copy of the issue that contains your article will be sent to you after your article is published. 3. Paper publication Fee: HK$3000 or US$400. Carefully observe the length limit of 8 pages for each paper. Extra pages beyond 8 pages are charged at HK$300 or US$40 per page. Please note that this office must receive the full amount due. Be sure to check with your bank prior to sending funds for the cost of their service. You are responsible for the service fees. If the fund we receive is insufficient you will have to send us another wire and the publication of your paper will be delayed. Published now monthly, Journal of Computational Information Systems is a journal designed to be of broad interest and use to both researchers and engineers of information systems. We welcome original papers in areas of computer science and computational applications of information systems. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. Authors should use the MS-Word templates obtained from the JCIS site to format their papers. Authors should submit pdf files of their manuscripts via the Online OA System->For Authors->Make a Submission Before sending your paper to the journal's Editor, please make sure that you have included all necessary details. For all submissions (online), please make sure you have provided: o Name of the author designated as the corresponding author, along with their: § E-mail address § Full postal address § Telephone numbers § Keywords o Ensure that graphics are high-resolution. Preferred formats are either TIFF or EPS. Be sure all necessary files have been uploaded/attached. All figure captions are available. o All tables are present (including title, description, footnotes). o Ensure your manuscript has been ‘spell checked’. o Verify that permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources (including the Web). o Check that references are in the correct format: Responsibility for the accuracy of bibliographic citations lies entirely with the authors. Citations in the text: Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). Any references cited in the abstract must be given in full. Citing and listing of web references. As a minimum, the full URL should be given. Any further information, if known (author names, dates, reference to a source publication, etc.), should also be given. Web references can be listed separately (e.g., after the reference list) under a different heading if desired, or can be included in the reference list. Text: Indicate references by number(s) in square brackets in line with the text. The actual authors can be referred to, but the reference number(s) must always be given. Example: "....as demonstrated [3,6]. Barnaby and Jones [8] obtains a different result...."
