At the same time, the elongation at break of homopolymer A film containing 100% BO is 30.04%, which is much higher than that of homopolymer E containing 100% BI with a elongation at break of 9.61%. It is attributed to the great hydrogen bonding interactions within homopolymer E system containing BI, by which the movement of molecular chains is limited, so that the film can not achieve high-elastic deformation and brittle fracture resulting in a small elongation at break. However, it is worthy to note that with the content of BO changes in the copolymer, and its elongation rate won¡¯t changes monotonously. In fact, when the BO's content was reduced to 60%, a maximum breaking elongation rate was achieved at 47.49%. It might be caused by the introduction of a small amount of BI chain which could greatly undermine the regular arrangement and piling up for molecular chains, increase the free volume and speed up the movement of molecular chains, the film elongation at break thereby enhanced. When the BO chain content continues to decrease, relative large content of the BIA in this system will make the effects of hydrogen bonding on the elongation to break of the film to be a dominant position, and thus the elongation at break of the film decreased, and when the content of BI arrived at 100 %, the minimum elongation at break was obtained as 9.61%.
