Titanium dioxide nanotubes, as an important morphology of the titanium dioxide material, is of great advantage in the photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants. Especially in recent years, a great deal of fruitful research was carried out by many research groups on the effective improvement of titania nanotubes by its surface modification to enhance the visible light absorption in the photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants. As it's known to all, the most important prerequisite for the effective photocatalyst photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants is adequate catalyst surface for adsorption of organic pollutants, in which the subsequent level of efficiency of photocatalytic degradation was greatly determined by the adsorption of the size and the speed of adsorption. On the other hand, adsorption itself, as an effective means of removing pollutants, play a crucial role for the separation and purification contaminants in the water. Therefore, the study on the adsorption of organic pollutants and their adsorption mechanism by photocatalyst agent by clarifing the role of catalyst surface and the action of light photocatalysis of organic pollutants in such mechanism, would generate a comprehensive understanding of catalytic mechanism and it is very important to know how to filter the light absorption properties, and significant effect of a new generation of photocatalytic catalysts.
