I have been upset for the whole week in the past. Not only did the noise in my lab have a bad influence on me but also the latest sports news did give me a surprise. I have not had a lab of my own since the last year I came to school. The lab where I do my research is actually for undergraduates. So there are always a large number of students coming into this place for their own experiments in which way that will uncomfortably affects me. However, I have to bare this situation and tell myself that I should be cool without doing something else. Fortunately, I could work in a quiet environment most of the time in the lab. But this morning, I was really shocked by the news form NBA rather than the noise form my lab. I went into my room, opened the computer and visited the website like before. What gave me a surprise is that Brandon Roy who was one of the most famous basketball players in the world had announced that he decided to retire. Then I went on to read the website and I found that there were so many players having been involved in the transaction which rarely made my be calm. I have been interested in watching NBA games for several years, and they often bring me joy in my spare time. Unfortunately, what I read on the website made me feel that NBA is mostly a business not a game and I decide to spend less time on watching it for my uncomfortable feelings. This is upset, this is definately upset!  |
