Influence of cyclohexane/solvent ratio, x The first results (Tables 1 and 2) show the influence of the mass content of cyclohexane in the solvent mixture. Fig. 3 shows that selectivity increases with the percentage of cyclohexane to about 70% and then decreases. Fig. 3 also shows that the yield is constant up to a proportion of 70% of cyclohexane in the solvent and then,above this value, the transfer decreases to 0 in pure cyclohexane.The value 70% represents the best ratio of the binary cyclohexane/pentanol to obtain optimal responses. However, this value isonly valid for the condition of a solution/solvent mass ratio of 18/32, studied here. |
