| When I was a graduate student, there's a postdoc graduated from Cornell sharing the same fume hood with me. She was born in US and grew up there. Her personality was like a real American but has some really bad habits probably inherited from her Indian parents. For example, she broke a thermometer in the fume hood one day, instead of cleaning it up, she just pretended nothing had happened. Unfortunately, I discovered numerous mercury beads in the fume hood the next day. |
