Vesicle directed synthesis: Vesicles formed from tetrabutylammonium bromide and metal salts act as efficient directors for the rapid synthesis of a large variety of binary, ternary, and quaternary intermetallic materials with hollow structure. This is the first time that different metals co-alloy on the vesicle surface and also the first synthesis of hollow alloy spheres containing more than two kinds of metals. Angew. Chem. Int.
