[求助] 求助，关于人脸检测和识别，外导发来的邮件看不懂

首先，我发给了他一个research proposal，摘要如下：
Title:
Low-resolution and occluded face recognition in advanced video surveillance system
Abstract:
In video surveillance, inexpensive cameras usually provide low quality face images which are not easy to be identified using generally algorithms. Besides, even those high-resolution cameras could not capture a clear face in a long distance.
As a result, it’s not possible to achieve better performance just by updating the hardware of the surveillance camera. Besides, the face recognition becomes more difficult when people are wearing facial accessories, especially sunglasses. Therefore, this research proposal has practical as well as theoretical values for video surveillance by proposing advanced algorithms to improve the accurate of face recognition for low-resolution and occlusion faces.

然后他回了:
“Actually high pose detection is a bigger problem for us than recognition. Add detection to proposal and it will be fine. Occlusion can be handled well also. ”

求助两个问题：
1. What is the meaning of “high pose detection” ?
Head pose detection? Multi-pose face detection ?
还是他的笔误？

2.What does he mean about “Occlusion can be handled well also” ?
He don’t want me to do research on Occlusion because Occlusion is solved by researchers already?

第一个问题我也没看懂啊，你找找资料，第二个问题貌似比较明显，他回答说high pose detection和识别相比，更加麻烦，所以叫你在proposal里加入high pose detection，这样的话，occlusion就可以得到很好的处理。然后我再想了想，是不是说摄像机的位置放高，然后再来估计pose，这样的话，occlusion问题就很容易解决了。不懂
