关于visiting scholar和joint student以及health insurance的问题
本人是博一准备申请CSC联培，邀请信上对方写I am pleased to invite you as a Visiting Scholar (J-1)，不知道这样可不可以？visiting scholar和joint student会不会影响结果？
还有上面提到you will be supported by your own funding and will cover all the expenses of your stay, including health insurance. It will also be your responsibility to find housing for yourself (and your family, if applicable) for the duration of your stay。
其中health insurance是对方提出的，这个有什么关系吗？去美国时一定要买这个吗？是每月支付吗？大概多少呢？
