2) Figures/tables should be embedded within the text of your manuscript file in the appropriate place; they should not be additionally submitted separately from the text

这个要求倒是不常见，一般期刊都要求图、表单独放一页的。

昨天晚上进入技术审查
今天通知没过
需要修改
修改点包括5点
1) Footnotes should be indicated in the text by superior Arabic numerals and should be grouped together in a section at the end of the text in numerical order and double spaced.

2) Figures/tables should be embedded within the text of your manuscript file in the appropriate place; they should not be additionally submitted separately from the text.

3) Research highlights provided should consist of a short collection of 3 to 5 bullet points that convey the core findings of the article. Each bullet point should not exceed a maximum of 85 characters including spaces.

4) Pages should be numbered sequentially.

5) Use superscript letters as footnote indicators in tables.
