日语☆英语一起学 there isn't any/much point (in doing that) ～してもあまり意味がない =there is no point (in doing sth) 这种结构意为“……是没有意义的(无用的 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Toyoko: I'm going to see John in hospital this afternoon. 私、今日の午後病院にJohnのお見舞いに行くつもりなの。 Chie: There isn't much point (in doing that) そんな事してもあまり意味がないわよ。 he's coming home tomorrow. 彼は明日退院するんだから。 ◇びょういん 病院 a hospital. = ・～に入れる send〈a person〉to (the) hospital. ・～に入る enter [go into] (the) hospital. ・～に見舞いに行く go to the hospital to see ((a person)). ◇みまい 見舞い （名）探望、慰问 ・～に行く go to inquire after a person's health; visit a person ((in hospital)). ◇たいいん 退院 ・～する leave (the) hospital; come out of (the) hospital. ◇ MEANING: 意味（いみ） Chie thinks it's a waste of time for Toyoko to go and see John in hospital as it will be easier to go and see him at home when he comes out. Chieは、Johnが退院してきた時に家に会いに行った方がもっと楽 Toyoko が病院までJohn のお見舞いに行くのは時間の無駄だと思 ◇むだ 無駄 uselessness; 《浪費》waste.（名、形动）徒劳、白费、无益、浪费 ◇ EXAMPLE: 例 Toyoko: I'm going to see an English version of 'Romeo and Juliet' tonight． 私、今夜'ロミオとジュリエット'の英語版を見に行くの。 Masa: What's the point? You don't speak English. You won't understand anything. 何がねらいなの？ 君は英語を話さないじゃない。 何にも理解できはしないよ。 ◇何がねらいなの？有什么企图？有什么目的？（男用语） ◇はん 版 an edition c ◇りかい 理解 Dwo&bZ.qj. understanding; comprehension. ・～のある understanding.
