Procrastination and procrastinator

There is no more annoying and frustrating things and persons that can compare to procrastination and procrastinators. But, to be frank, I am a total and utter procrastinator for anything regarding to scientific research paper writing. Whenever I determine to write some papers with a well-scheduled plan, but again and again, I used to hurt myself by refusing to adhere to my original plan and a lot of excuses occurred to me and I never completed the scheduled work. No good reasons come to my mind why I always put off the things need to finish today till tomorrow. This bad habit really do me great harm. I am so regretful of forming it, and I have been trying to give it up but failing to break it up. Not until now do I recognize that the real enermy standing in front of me is not the procrastination itself but me for the simple reason that I have been making up good plan but there are no good feasibilty of them, by that I mean I cannot acccomplish them promotly without delay because I expect too much of myself and overestimate my ability. The best resolution to my bad companion is to replan my schedules more feasible and easier to achieve. Only in this way, maybe it’s easier said than done, can I completely regain my confidence and raise my sense of fulfillment that is of vital significance to my future course and career. One must be true in word and resolute in deed. Firmly believe that I can successfully make the change and say goodbye to procrastination forever! [ 来自科研家族 食品科学 ] |

You can't change yourself and you can find a lot of excuses for your procrastination, I think it is because you have the opinion that the deadline is far away from now and that you still have a lot of time to prepare the papers,the experiments and so on. As you say,you should make a better and feasible schedule. Best wishes!  |
