Postdoctoral Positions in NTU 已有1人参与

Enthusiastic and highly motivated postdoctoral scientists are sought to work with Dr. Zhou Kun at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore on the following areas: (1) Contact fatigue and wear: The project would focus on the development of predictive contact fatigue and wear damage mechanics models for remaining life estimation. Experimental studies including contact fretting test (Tribometer), non-destructive test (Scanning Acoustic Microscope), and surface profile measurement (Optical Profilometer) would also be involved. (2) Electrochemistry: The project would aim to improve both corrosion resistance and erosion immunity of protective metallic coatings (particularly titanium) under harsh conditions (seawater and high temperatures) through surface treatment or modification such as anodization and ion implantation. The candidates should have rich experience in relevant research areas, good publication records, and excellent writing skills. The contract will be one year and renewable subject to performance.
