| The size of bubbles in liquid phase mainly depends on the properties (concentration, surface activity) of liquid phase main solution and size of distributor aperture. And, in this chapter, because the system and initial system concentration are determined, the size of bubbles in liquid phase basically depends on size of distributor aperture. The bubbles produced in small distributor aperture are small in size. Since the relative surface area of small bubbles is larger and the resistance is smaller when rising up, the total absorption amount of small bubbles and rising speed are bigger than large one. Therefore, the higher liquid hold in foam phase results in decrease of enrichment fraction. |
