我收到了一个英国学校教授的回复，如下： First, we would need to conduct a phone interview to understand if my research group is indeed a good match for your background and research interests. Second, note that visiting PhD students have to pay certain fees, called bench fees, which cover the use of various facilities, such as office space, IT support, etc. The fees are around £1000/month, although I can try to see if it's possible to reduce them/have them partially covered by the department. However, it is important to know if the CSC fellowship could cover these fees. Finally, what is the application deadline for the CSC fellowship? 大概问题就是bench fee，这么贵啊，一个月1000磅？CSC奖学金支持bench fee么？如果不支持我就不打算去了，我家穷。 第二就是CSC奖学金的申请deadline，估计他是在考虑什么时候做最后决定比较合适？ |
