Photocatalytic oxidation of organic pollutants using nano-sized TiO2, which is superior to its conventional counterpart in terms of environmental protection, energy-saving, efficiency and degradation degree, is one of most promising method to decompose organic pollutants. To make this technique more practical, it is urgent to develop highly efficient TiO2 based photocatalyst.

Nano-TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation technique is a potential method to process organics and it has advantages of being environmental, energy-saving, high efficiency, and complete decomposition of pollution, compared to traditional organics processing methods. Therefore, it has been hot spot in recent years and the key to it is highly efficient TiO2 photocatalyst.
