No paper by a chemical scientist residing in the United States who is not a member of the SOCIETY shall appear on the program of a national, regional, divisional, or other major meeting of the SOCIETY unless it be a joint paper with one or more SOCIETY members, or unless for a national, regional, or national-divisional meeting the author has been invited to present the paper at a symposium organized by a Division of the SOCIETY or by Sections of the SOCIETY, and the chairman of such Division or of the host Section has certified to the Executive Director of the SOCIETY prior to the publication of the program that presentation by the author of such paper is important to the success of the symposium. 帮忙翻译一下。 |

居住在美国，但非本会会员的化学研究者（chemical scientist），不得在本会国家级、地区级、下属分会以及其他主要会议上发布会议论文，除非： 1）一位或者多位本会会员作为联合作者； 2) 本会国家级、地区级会议或者下属分会邀请该作者在本会下属分会或者本会分部组织的会议上发表论文。但在论文发表之前，发出邀请的下属分会或者本会分部主席必须向本会行政主管（ the Executive Director of the SOCIETY）证明该作者的论文对于会议的成功十分重要。 ××××××××××××××××××××× 这是什么鬼学会啊？肯定不是美国化学会。  这样的学会，不参加也罢！美国化学会每年有两次national meeting。在national meeting里面，有很多division meeting。比如说，organic division，polymer division， 等等。美国化学会还有很多地方分部，称作local section。它们都会有年度会议。 其他学会的结构类似。但是类似上面的排他性条款，好像不多见。比如，如果你不是美国化学会会员，仍然可以参加national meeting/division meeting/local section meeting，只不过会议手续费可能多交一点就是了。 |
