The international standards to determine A in water quality and soil quality are both B methods. The Chinese standard to determine A in water quality now is still adopt C method which was abolished by ISO. However, the C method provides unstable testing results and has certain toxicity by using large amounts of D. What’s more, it also has some disadvantages of more reagents, complex operation, and determination of one element at one time. And that in soil is E method. Compared to B method which is adopted by ISO, the main advantage of the E method is the improved limit of detection, typically 10 to 20 times. However, the B method has the most serious disadvantage of poor resistance against atomization interferences and often unsatisfactory linearity of calibration curves. The US EPA has proposed a method of F for the analysis of A in water. It requires few reagents and instruments, but more interference is obtained.

B method is the international standards to measure A in both water and soil. The Chinese standard still adopts expired ISO method C to analyze A in water. However, the C method provides inconsistent test results and requires/consumes a large amount of D with high toxicity. Furthermore, it also has some disadvantages including demand of many reagents, complexity and low efficiency (1 element per test). E method is adapted in the chinese standard as of now. Compared to ISO B method, the E method shows an improved detection limit, typically by a factor of 10 to 20. Moreover, the B method has poor resistance against atomization interference and often displays NONLINEAR calibration curves. The US EPA SUGGESTS TO USE METHODE F for the analysis of A in water. It requires LESS reagents and instruments, but more interference CAN BE OBSERVED.

测定水质和土壤质量中A的国际标准均采用B方法。
现在测定水质中A的中国标准仍然采用被ISO废止的C方法。由于在测定中采用了大量的D物质,C方法提供的结果不稳定并且有一定的毒性。并且C方法需要更多的试剂、复杂的操作、同时只能测定一种元素。
测定土壤中A的中国标准是E方法。E方法与方法B相比,除也被ISO所采纳外,E方法将检测限提高了10-20倍;同时,避免了B方法的严重缺点:抗原子化干涉以及标准曲线线形方面的不尽如人意。
美国EPA采用E方法分析水质中的A,该方法所需试剂和仪器均较少,但是存在的干扰较多。
