The reaction mixture was refluxed (30min for ethyl acetate and 20 min for diethyl carbonate) under microwave heating (magnetron power of 400W for ethyl acetate and 450 W diethyl carbonate). cooled at 5 ◦C for 4–5 h. Formed white precipitate was separated
by filtration and dried to give 990 mg (94%) for ethyl acetate and
1.0 g (95%) for diethyl carbonate of succinimide. The filtrate was
then evaporated under vacuum, to obtain a powdery material,
which was purified by silica gel column chromatography with
hexane–ethyl acetate (1 : 4) as an eluent. The isolated yield of 1-
bromo-4-bromomethylbenzene is 1.33 g (90%) for ethyl acetate
and 1.40 g (95%) for diethyl carbonate as reaction media.  整个段落是这样,乙酸乙酯还是碳酸酯是不是反应中的溶剂?

根据(30min for ethyl acetate and 20 min for diethyl carbonate) 以及(magnetron power of 400W for ethyl acetate and 450 W diethyl carbonate)两个括号内的内容来看,用乙酸乙酯和碳酸二乙酯肯定是分别进行的,分别进行提取。突然出现一个The clear reaction mixture,让人迷惑,难道是将两种提取液混合一块啦。这需要前后文的确定。
    后面的冷却是个结晶析出提取物的过程。过滤干燥后,应该是分成了两份,990mg溶于乙酸乙酯,1g溶于碳酸二乙酯。(94%) 和(95%) 也有点不明白,是质量分数吗?
    最后的of succinimide 应该是两个溶剂当中含有琥珀酰亚胺。

个人感觉,这个实验是要去用气质分析两个提取物的成分,琥珀酰亚胺是作为内标用。 楼主自己再根据前后文斟酌一下。
