Dear ,
I would like to submit the manuscript entitled, “Key interactions of the mutant HIV-1
Reverse Transcriptase/Efavirenz: An evidence obtained from ONIOM method” to be
published in MedChemComm. The main objective of this work is to find out the key residues
in the binding site of the HIV-1 reverse transcriptase, bound with its inhibitor, based on the
ONIOM method. This method has been applied to large biological system, but, still focused
on the drug-enzyme interaction, calculated at high level of calculations. The obtained results
indicate structural and energetic properties of the key residues (L101 and S105) which are
important for the design of novel inhibitor, against mutant enzyme. This manuscript may be
interesting to MedChemComm readers. It would be very kind, if you could consider this
manuscript to be published in MedChemComm.
