大学英语四、六级考试作文部分概述
一、考核目的及考核要求
(一)考核目的
国家教委颁布的《大学英语教学大纲》及其相应的考试大纲规定，修完四、六级大学英语的学生定期实施统一考试。四、六级试卷中均含有写作项目，旨在考核学生用英语进行书面表达的初步能力。
(二)考核要求
四、六级大学英语写作考试时间为30分钟。分值均为总分的15%。四级考试要求考生写100—120词的短文；六级考试要求考生写不少于120词的短文。四级试卷上可能给出题目，或规定情景，或要求看图作文，或给出首句要求续写，或给出关键词要求写成短文。要求切题，能正确表达思想，意义连贯，文字基本通顺，无重大语法错误。写作内容为科技、社会、文化等方面的一般知识。
二、大学英语四级考试作文评分原则、标准
(一)评分原则
1、CET是检查考生是否达到大学英语教学大纲规定的四级和六级教学要求，对作文的评判应以此要求为准则。
2、CET作文题采用总体评分方法。阅卷人员按总的印象给出奖励分，而不是按语言点的错误数目扣分。
3、从内容和语言两个方面对作文进行综合评判。内容和语言是一个统一体。作文应表达题
目所规定的内容，而内容要通过语言来表达。要考虑作文否切题，是否充分表达思想，也要考虑是否用英语清楚而贴切地表达思想，也就是要考虑语言上的错误是否造成理解上的障碍。
4、避免趋中倾向，该给高分的给高分，包括满分；该给低分的给低分，包括0分，一名阅卷人员在所评阅的全部作文卷中不应只给中间的几种分数。
（注：评分原则第2条中规定：CET作文题采用总体评分方法，阅卷人员按总的印象给出奖励分，给阅卷人员良好的印象，是我们在英语写作中首先要考虑的问题。怎样给阅卷人员良好的印象？
首先，卷面一定要清晰、干净、整洁。不要乱涂乱画，若有删节，在文字的中间画一道横线。
第二，段落按要求写，要求写几段就写几段。一般情况下，中间一段长，开首段和结尾段较短，让人第一感觉就是内容充实。
第三，开好头，结好尾。
第四，按要求的字数写，可以比要求的字数稍微多一点。字数少了给人的感觉是缺乏内容，字数太多了，文章显得繁琐，阅卷老师心理会烦，你的分数会受影响。
评分原则第3条中规定，从内容和语言两个方面对作文进行综合评判。注意：
第一，内容要充实，每一段落一般从两到三个方面展开，内容的每一个层面一定要清晰，讲清楚一件事后再讲另外一件事。
第二，内容要新异，不要人云亦云，只谈论大路边上的。也不要目光短浅，只看到身边的，要放眼全球，放眼未来。
第三，语言方面取决于自己的语言水平，语言水平较差的同学，要保守一点，多用一些简单句，和并列句。语言水平好一点的同学，可多考虑复合句。要想作文取得高分，所用的句子必须多样，词汇方面要多用些词组、短语、习惯用法或谚语、名句等。
第四，要学会使用连接词，如：表转折：but, however, nevertheless等，连接词的使用使文章连贯，读者阅读起来思路清晰，感觉良好，在考试中容易得高分。
(二)评分标准
1、本题满分为15分。
2、阅卷标准共分五档：2分、5分、8分、11分及14分。各有标准样卷一至二份。
3、阅卷人员根据阅卷标准，对照样卷评分，若认为与某一分数(如8分)相似，即给该分数
(即8分)；若认为稍优或稍劣于该分数，则可加一分(即9分)或减一分(即7分)。但不得加或减半分。
4、评分标准：
2分—条理不清，思路紊乱，语言支离破碎或大部分句子均有错误，但多数为严重错误。
5分—基本切题。表达思想不清楚，连贯性差。有较多的严重语言错误。
8分—基本切题。有些地方表达思想不够清楚，文字勉强连贯；语言错误相当多，其中有一
   些是严重错误。
11分—切题。表达思想清楚、文字连贯，但有少量语言错误。
14分—切题。表达思想清楚、文字通顺，连贯性较好，基本上无语言错误，仅有个别小错误。
5、字数不足应酌情扣分。
注：1、如题目中给出主题句，起始句，结束句，均不得计入所写字数。
   2、只写一段者：0～4分；只写段者：0～9分(按规定三段的作文)
三、四级作文样文
为了把上述评分原则及标准更具体化，让考生作到心中有数，我们来看各档作文的样文。

You are given the first sentence of each paragraph and are required to develop the idea in completing the paragraph. Your part of the composition should be about 100 words not including the words given. Remember to write clearly. You should write this composition on the Composition Sheet. 

Women in the Modern World
Women are playing an increasingly important part in society today. Long ago ,women only did something in the kitchen or at home. Now many of them have serious jobs to serve for people. What men can do so can women. 
With the changes in their social role, womem's position in the family has been improved as well. Today in the family, the wife often lots her husband to do something at home tat ago, only women did something. Men are foned of doing something at home. 
In spite of these changes, the liberation of women has not been completely realized. Sometimes, the matter, the husband hitting his wilf, often happened. In the factory the women do as much as the men, but the liberation of women.

Women in the Modern World
Women are playing an increasingly important part in society today.  In today, many women have a work. They worked as well as men playing an important part in factories. There are many women in government also. They lead other people country, and make out plans. There are many women scientist slso. They event new things to improve our life.
With the changes in their social role, women's position in the family has been improved as well. In ancient women's position in family is bity. They had to looks after their children, did every how husband ordered her to do .But now it is changed. They are equal to her husband. They have the right of speaking of idea, discussion thing with her husband, do what she wants to do.
In spite of these changes, the liberation of women has not been completely realized. We also should realize, women' liberty are limited. For example, many factories want men become its workers but the chance of women is less than men. Everyone should do their best to change this condition. I'm sure, the liberation of women should be increased.
