homepage: https://greennet.imag.fr/ GreenNet 2011 International Workshop on Optimization for Green Wireless Networks GreenNet 2011, 16-18 Dec. 2011, Beijing, China In conjunction with The 7th International Conference on Mobile Ad-hoc and Sensor Networks (MSN'11) Green Networking aims at saving energy in the operation and the use of wireless networks. Mobile nodes, and in particular sensor nodes have limited batteries, and therefore energy-efficient algorithms should be specifically designed to enable their deployment in future systems. The workshop will bring together academic and industrial researchers for discussing efficient distributed optimization techniques and algorithms for energy-efficient communications in future wireless networks. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to): Power control and interference management algorithms Medium Access Control Collaborative routing On-demand mechanisms Dynamics of power control algorithms leveraging the delay-power tradeoff in wireless networks Cognitive radio Self Optimizing Networks Cell size optimization Scheduling and resource allocation of wireless networks Energy efficient wireless networks Cooperative communications Network coding Cloud computing Network economics Information and communication theory Targeted tools include game theory, distributed optimization, stochastic optimization and so on.
