It's been a long time

Nowadays many young men cann't afford a house.I talked to someone yesterday and she suggested that a blind date could be the best for me as i could ask whether the other side could buy a house or at least,could afford the down payment.And if not,i could say no and it would not be too awkward.She said this to me because she is worrying about the house herself.She met someone a long time ago and they became lovers before she knew the complicate situation in his family.And now,when it comes to marriage,it's agonising because his family is too poor to afford a house even though the house in the area they live is much cheaper than in some big cities,and their salaries are not high.She would not leave him because it has been a long time and there is more than romantic love between them.I feel so sorry for her,but i could not be able to help.I want her to be happy.
