招聘信息（助研及研究生）香港城大

We are a new chemical biology team in the Department of Biology and Chemistry, City University of Hong Kong (http://www6.cityu.edu.hk/bhdbapp/deptweb/profile/drhys.html). Our research focuses on applying synthetic chemistry tools to address biological problems: Combinatorial synthesis to generate biologically active compound collections, e.g. anticancer molecules Developing microarray/cell-based screening platform to identify biologically active molecules Target identification and validation to elucidate the compound action mechanism at molecular level Developing novel biosensor/biomaterial for biological functions and applications. The research covers a wide range of fields, including organic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology and material science. Students will have the exceptional opportunity to perform cutting-edge research in multidisciplinary environment and to learn state-of-the-art techniques in laboratory. Currently we have positions available for research associate and graduate student. We cordially welcome all highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students from the department of chemistry or biology to apply. For applicant of graduate student, a detailed CV with the following information is required: 1. Publications 2. GPA and English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS or band 6 in Chinese mainland’s College English Test) 3. Research goals 4. Names and contact details of 3 referees 5.
