关于投稿图片格式的问题 已有1人参与

想请问一下大家，对于electronic figure submission中要求的figure lettering是什么意思呢？我很困惑，现把要求列在下面，麻烦大家帮我看看： Figure Lettering To add lettering, it is best to use Helvetica or Arial (sans serif fonts). Keep lettering consistently sized throughout your final-sized artwork, usually about 2–3 mm (8–12 pt). • Variance of type size within an illustration should be minimal, e.g., do not use 8-pt type on an axis and 20-pt type for the axis label. Avoid effects such as shading, outline letters, etc. Do not include titles or captions into your illustrations. 谢谢大家 |

如果我没猜错的话，你是往下面这个地址的杂志投稿： http://interdisciplinarysciences ... =Author_Instruction 对吧？嘿嘿……不过我没投过这个。 我看了投稿指南，认为Figure Lettering的意思是指“对于图形的文字标注”。 它给你举了一个例子：Variance of type size within an illustration should be minimal, e.g., do not use 8-pt type on an axis and 20-pt type for the axis label. 意思就是：假如你的图形是建立在一个坐标轴中的，那么在进行文字标注时请注意不要“将轴线或者轴上的单位数字用8号字，而将轴标用20号字”，不要斜体，阴影啥的…… 总之重点就是告诉你在标注时要字体一致（或相差甚小）且清晰可辨认。  |
