关于澳大利亚做博后的工资问题

我目前刚在昆士兰大学开始做博后，要填许多表格，其中有一项关于养老金（superannuation)这项不太明白，其中又9%的养老金，如果我想再交7%的养老金，学校也会在提供7%养老金。 1) You receive 9% superannuation 2) If you pay an additional 7% of your salary into superannuation, UQ will also add another 7% into super (i.e. 9 + 7 + 7 = 23% superannuation) 3) Unless you advise otherwise, UQ automatically assumes that you want to make this 7% contribution, and will automatically start deducting 7% from your pay into your super. If you decide not to do this, UQ will also stop making their additional 7% payment into superannuation. 4) If you continue to make the 7% payment, you should “salary sacrifice” this payment. Salary sacrifice essentially means that you do not pay income tax on that money (thereby saving a lot of money). If you want to continue to make the 7% contribution, you should complete the salary sacrifice forms so that you don’t pay income tax on that money. 我还没想好以后会不会在澳大利亚定居，也许几年后我就离开这个地方了，那个养老金之类会返回给我吗？ 一个salary package项我也是不太明白，如果选择这项似乎税会少点。但是不太明白是怎样的状态。 所以请又经验的，或者自身经历的兄弟姐妹讲解一下，本人不胜感激。 |
