Positions for postdoctoral fellow and graduate students in Advanced Ceramics and Nanomaterials at New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, USA

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position and graduate students at the Kazuo Inamori School of Engineering, New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. The projects will be related to advanced ceramics, particularly in transparent ceramics with relevance to mechanical and optical properties and applications, and energy materials, and nanomaterials as well. Related hands-on experiments and an appropriate background are required. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with an outstanding academic record who have an ability to English oral and writing communicate effectively. The postdoctoral candidates having a Ph.D. in materials science, applied physics, chemistry engineering, optics, electrical engineering or related fields should email detailed CV, application letter, and contact information of three references to: wuy@alfred.edu. The graduate student should also send GRE and TOEFL scores. We also welcome to have international visiting students and scholars for non-degree or PhD degree study.
