This is the first time ICEM conference is held in Europe and it provides an unique opportunity for the academic and industrial community to learn the cutting-edge development, address new challenges, share solutions and discuss future research directions. The topics of the conference under three themes: 1) Eco-materials with greener environmental profile Special topics: Materials from renewable resources & biopolymers 2) Extended use and re-use of materials 3) Environmental assessment of materials/processing/applications Topics details are included, but limited, in the broacher enclosed. R. China, in August 2007. It is organized by The Chinese Society of Rare Earths (CSRE) and Baotou National Rare-Earth Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone Administration Committee. ICRE is a series of international rare earth conference organized by The Chinese Society of Rare Earths (CSRE). The 5th conference (ICRE-2007) will be held in 2007. The location of the conference is in Baotou. It can be expected that many new developments will be acquired in the coming years. ICRE-2007 will offer an opportunity for the people in all walks of life related to rare earths to get together and to learn and exchange information about new research results, new ideas and to find new opportunities for R&D programs and cooperation. As a main producer and supplier of rare earth raw material and products, China is always interested in what is going on in the field of rare earths around the world. The Chinese Society of Rare Earths (CSRE) has the pleasure to host ICRE-2007, which will be a great gathering of global rare earth scientists, engineers and business executives. All the friends engaged in the field of rare earths and related scientific and industrial branches are warmly welcome to join us and to contribute to ICRE-2007. 征文范围及要求： 征稿范围： 1、稀土材料及应用：稀土磁性材料及磁学、储氢材料及电池、超磁致伸缩材料、磁致冷、磁光存储材料、发光荧光材料、高温超导、催化材料、高分子材料等； 2、稀土化学和物理：配位化学和有机金属化学，生物无机化学，固体化学和物理，物理化学，萃取原理和工艺，溶液化学，熔盐化学，电子结构和光谱，分析化学； 3、稀土在传统领域应用的新进展：稀土在钢铁中的应用，有色金属及合金，玻璃陶瓷，催化剂，农业和医药等多个领域； 4、稀土资源和冶金：稀土地球化学和选矿，分离技术，湿法冶金，金属及合金的制备，高纯金属及合金的制备，环境保护，生产设备和分析测试仪器。 会议文集： 会议将出版论文摘要集，论文全文将以《中国稀土学报》（英文版）专辑的形式出版。 |
