如题，论文被拒后转投其他的杂志，在cover letter里要说明吗？如果要说明该怎么说呢……求指点啊，第一次投稿…… |

这个是编辑的回信：Upon inspection of your submission I noticed that your contribution is rather short. I counted about 2600 words including abstract. This is rather a short communication than a full scientific paper with in depth discussion of the results. ISE recommends that Preliminary Notes or Short Communications (which are no longer published by Electrochimica Acta) should be sent to Electrochemistry Communications (Editor-in-Chief RG Compton, Oxford University, Physical and Theoretical Chemistry Laboratory, South Parks Road, Oxford OX1 3QZ, England, www.elsevier.com/locate/elecom. This is not an evaluation of the quality of the paper, but a matter of relevance and of publication policy. A revised version will now not be considered anymore, but we do hope that you will find the comments constructive. 一般来说coverletter里不是要说明文章没有一稿多投么，比如：The work described has not been submitted elsewhere for publication, in whole or in part, and all the authors listed have approved the manuscript that is enclosed.只要没出版就不算的么……菜鸟求指点…… |
