编辑这样的信件需要回复吗？

本人最近投了一篇Transition Metal Chemistry，编辑部来信如下： Dear ***, Thank you for submitting your paper and for your covering letter. The manuscript is now being assessed. I shall write to you again when the referees (1) reports are received. The conditions for publication are as follows: 1. The authors possess the copyright and are entitled to submit the manuscript for publication. 2. The authors declare that the manuscript in its present form has not been published elsewhere, either as a whole or in part, that it has not been submitted to another journal and that it will not be submitted to another journal if it is accepted for publication in "Transition Metal Chemistry". 3. With the acceptance for publication, Springer acquires all publishing rights including those of reprinting, translating, reproducing, distributing and making accessible the manuscript in printed or any other form (e.g. as photocopy, microfilm or in machine-readable form). 4. The manuscript, originals or illustrations, and proof will be destroyed three months after publication of the manuscript, unless it is requested that this material be returned to the authors.
