Song of the Butterfly Day

A beautiful butterfly lingers on my shoulder,
And follows me all the day.
Surely a gift from the nature
To fill my day with colors and happiness.

But I always forget to stop and thank
The Lord for all that he sends me,
Like the beautiful little butterfly
That has lighted my day.

Time changes all,
And it has turned me into a more beautiful and mature person
Like a butterfly from its cocoon.

So thank you, Lord.
Thank you for this Butterfly Day.
For all the joys and smiles
You have sent my way.
