Sound of silence

At the first of listening to the sound of silence, a well-known song on the screen of one notable movie- the graduate, which describing a boy lost in his fantasy mental world, full of temptation and unconsciousness, as a sudden I liked the process the boy struggled with himself. Although caught in the crossroad with sensation and resonation, finally he conquered the barrier buried in his heart and got his true love. At that time, the silence showed alone, a dreadful emotion, which could disturb the quietness in life and lead to the opposite direction, or make people go astray. But the silence depicted above has never touched with my soul regardless of existing in my thought, and it merely showed a real tranquil world. Once on a time, I remembered a book named the lost horizon written by a western person, depicting a unrealistic world just like Utopia with beauty, equality, and no evils and press. However, recently stretched with the steps of human, they found Shangri-la, Yunnan, a beautiful and clean attraction, seemed to exist only in the legend or myth, which might be the very paradise imagined by the antique poet, Yuanming Tao. Later on, I always listened to Bandari, the sound of silence, which was my favorite. When the rhythm flew into the ears, it was likelihood that some strength attracted me to walking from a trail hidden the forest up to the depth of my heart. Just at that time, all the things were still, merging together with the universe, making me silence and no fluctuations. Frankly speaking, now I have been missing the conifer forests and the mosses growing under the trees in Bergen; but I forget how to express these feelings formed and vanished in the rush and haste. Times passes by side as a brook never stopped. Now I am seating in the study room accompanied with the younger kids, and waiting for the coming of the exams. Once in a while, the sound of silence rang around my mind again and again, full of the aspiration and hope. So I believe it is a day in the future that I will immerse myself in silence with freedom and even sorrow. No past, no future. |
