Life and death

I was scared to wake up from nightmare in the continual two nights, in which I was always searching for her, but I could not seize her shadow and only her face left in my unawake awareness. At this time, I burst into crying but without any tears. When I opened my eyes slowly, I had to admit the very fact that she was gone and left me lonely life. Mentioned her, there is a hurt soul and mind were torn. It is last year that she left without any words to me. I lose her in my regret and self-accusation. I was not in her side and didn’t accompany with her in the remaining days. She has gone, so has our cousin in the following days. They both were dead in my absent days and white lies. I haven’t confronted the death, but my younger sister has passed away. In fact, life is really fragile in the cosmos. Just in one minute, life may die away as the different forms. Some flowers are broken with the following life disappearing. Some habitats are destroyed to result in species vanished. For the extrinsic life except human beings, people seldom pay heed to them. Only the death threatens the intrinsic life of human, can we know shallowly a certain meaning about life and the value of life. In my opinion, life lies more in its integrity whatever happiness or sorrow. Sometimes I dream Luer because she still exists in my life. Every day, life goes with the running water, she is right here; every day, life alternates between sunrise and sunset, she is still right here. She is one part of the university and my life, not being stopped. Just like the poem written like this. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there; I do not sleep I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on snow I am sunlight on ripened grain I am the gentle autumn’s rain When you awake in the morning bush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet in circle flight I am the soft star that shines at night Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there; I did not die |
