So boring the job is! I wanna a different life.

It's 2 years since I graduated, I have been working in the same place,doing nothing different everyday. Sometimes I think I was so lucky to get a suitable job while my classmates were struggling,but it seems that time can change everything. After two years of the same post,I get quite bored,and even I can't stop complaining time to time. Now I should be brave to get rid of the boring post,and seek a new life full of challenge. |

The same like me. Changing need more courage.You may not get what you want.Maybe the life after changing is not good than now. Chrish what you have and Forget what you lost .This is what I want to say to you But if you really want to seek a new life and you have thought more than twice and you have made a decision,then just do it.I think there is no need to waste time in worrying about the future. |

The key to make your current job more interesting or challenging as you'd like it to be, the key to your own success and the success of the company, in my point of view, is for you to focus on the need of the company. Challenge yourself to do the same routine job better, and more efficient. Now that you got time to complain, why not use the time to figour out what else you can do for the company instead? Find a problem that bothers the company or your department that hinders its development and figure out a detailed solution to it! Before you make up your mind to leave, think about what elsle you can do for the company. Try treat your company as your customer and do a better job to EXCEED your customer's expectations! I am also bored with the present life. but if ask me to leave, I may be reluctent to leave. I cannot do that well, but someone can. why, the reason is myself. maybe I did not make efforts. maybe I should be more serious and careful and diligent . still, it is courageous to make up mind to make a change to challenge the life. best wishes. |

This is not the time to make hard and fast decisions, this is the time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stock somewhere. Change your mind, and change it again, because is permanent. So, make as many mistakes as your can. That way, someday, when they ask what we wanna be...... we won,t have to guess, we will know. |

Have you heard the story concerning "a warm boiled frog"? Maybe, you are the right frog. It's a normal feeling for all people like you who stay in the same position for a long time. More comfortable the situation is , more possiblely you dislike your current situation, and more less demands you will impose on yourself. I think, from your post, on one side, you are satisfied with your job, which is better than your peer's, but, on the other side, your boring reflects your fear of your lost endeavor. In the real world, not too much stuffs are challenging. I agree with the opinion/ suggestion, which comes from "challenging" in 8 Floor. You really need to make some changes, which depend on your wisdom eyses. |

The good news is, your job is not your life. (Well I hope it is not). If you make your life outside your job enjoyable, then it may be easier to tolerate the "bread-and-butter work". If you're doubtful about staying in your job, I was given this advice years ago: "always be looking for work". Don't stop looking for things to do just because you have a job, even if that job is secure and enjoyable. You can always pass other new jobs onto your friends. The thing is to keep your options open, so the choice remains yours. |

I totally understand what you say cause i been in same state as you,aslo feel boring about my five years' job. Sometimes i want to give up and find another job. no matter what kind of job is .... |

you are always not so much complaining as trying your best to change current status. but it is very necessary for you to think carefully and do enough preparations before you take action to change, best wishes for you! |
